Libe Mositi
Co-Founder & MD, Vertex Learnbox
Libe Mositi is charged with the responsibility of directing and engineering Vertex Learnbox, a pioneering EdTech platform operating under his holding company, Divine Trade Logistics PTY LTD. As Co-Founder, he provides high-level technical and visionary leadership to build localized educational technology solutions. Prior to dedicating his focus to Vertex Learnbox, Mositi worked as a Software Engineer at SOLTRAK, a solar renewable energy analysis and reporting company in Cape Town, where he developed analytical software and reporting pipelines. He also served as a Computer Laboratory Assistant at the University of Cape Town’s ICTS department from 2023 to 2025, managing technical infrastructure and providing critical support to the university community.
With a profound commitment to educational equity, He has an extensive background in academic mentorship and turnaround strategies. He previously taught Mathematics and Physics, notably guiding a cohort of struggling students to remarkable grade improvements within a minimum of three months. Under his tutelage between June and October 2021, one physics student elevated their grade from a D to an A*, while a mathematics student improved from a G to an A, alongside numerous B and C credits. He later expanded into private tutoring for International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma students in Mathematics and Chemistry, consistently helping them achieve elite Level 7 grades and produce top-tier Internal Assessment coursework. Mr. Mositi continues to maintain lifelong mentorships with his past students as they pursue their diverse careers. He has also served as a student mentor in the Engineering and Built Environment (EBE) department at the University of Cape Town, and as an Academic Representative Committee member for LESA-UCT.
Mositi’s drive stems from a foundation of rigorous academic excellence. He pursued Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Cape Town and graduated among the top-performing students in the Machabeng College IBDP Class of 2021 with a notable record of Level 6 Mathematics AA HL, Level 6 Chemistry HL, and Level 6 Physics SL. Throughout his early schooling, he consistently ranked among the highest-performing students nationally in the Lesotho ECOL exams, including the 2013 PSLE, 2016 JC, and 2018 IGCSE. A dominant competitor at LSMTA science fairs, quizzes, and mathematics tournaments, he routinely secured first-place accolades. For his IBDP Extended Essay, he combined his mathematical acumen with public health, exploring HIV prevalence in Lesotho using calculus-derived models. Beyond academia, Mositi is deeply invested in social impact; he volunteered his time tutoring students at the Tholoana ea Lerato orphanage, packed medicine and shadowed doctors at the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, and actively participated in the Model UN at Machabeng College. In 2021, his extensive community contributions earned him recognition by the United Nations Lesotho as a finalist for the SDG Global Challenge competition.
