Vertex Learnbox is an advanced digital learning ecosystem designed to assist students in their exam preparation. While we provide premium, curriculum-mapped resources (such as LGCSE, IEB, NSC, Cambridge, and IBDP past papers) and state that 72% of our early users report improved grades, we do not guarantee any specific academic outcome, exam score, or university admission.

  • No Guarantee of Flawless Accuracy: While ITHUTEX is strictly mapped to regional syllabuses, machine learning models can occasionally produce errors, misinterpret prompts, or generate inaccurate information (“hallucinations”).
  • User Responsibility: Students are strongly encouraged to cross-reference AI-generated explanations and dynamically graded past-paper results with official marking schemes and authorized textbooks. Vertex Learnbox is not liable for any academic penalties resulting from an over-reliance on AI-generated content.

3. Independent Tutor Marketplace

Our platform features a Tutor Marketplace that connects students with independent, freelance educators for digital classroom sessions.

  • Independent Contractors: Tutors registered on Vertex Learnbox are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Vertex Learnbox.
  • No Endorsement or Liability: While we evaluate tutors during onboarding to ensure platform quality, we do not guarantee the teaching style, accuracy, or offline conduct of any independent tutor. Any disputes regarding lesson quality, scheduling, or communication must be resolved in accordance with our marketplace guidelines, but Vertex Learnbox bears no direct legal liability for the actions of third-party educators.

4. Non-Affiliation with Examination Boards

Vertex Learnbox is an independent EdTech enterprise. We are not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any national or international examination boards, including but not limited to:

  • The Examinations Council of Lesotho (ECOL)
  • The Independent Examinations Board (IEB)
  • The National Senior Certificate (NSC / Department of Basic Education, South Africa)

  • Platform Availability: The platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or entirely secure from unforeseen server outages or cyber threats.
  • Third-Party Gateways: We integrate local and international payment systems (e.g., Vodacom Lesotho M-Pesa, EcoCash, C-Pay). We are not responsible for transaction failures, delays, or data connection timeouts caused by your mobile network operator, internet service provider, or the third-party payment gateways themselves.
